That seems like a reasonable theory.
I once had an add on (don’t remember which, something with videos, I think), which slowed everything down.
I found it by disabling add-ons one by one.

My laptop is 15 years old, with only 8GB of RAM, but Firefox is handling >2K tabs over several windows just fine.
There must be an issue outside the browser.
@wesker
Killing tabs is mean and cruel!
However, even with 100s of them, you just need to jump into the address bar and type some letters of the tab’s address and Firefox will offer you to switch to it.
Firefox usage numbers are low globally, but not everywhere. E.g. in Germany, its market share is still above 10%. This includes many people without any tech background.

The SEC might also look into the question, whether repeated false claims about Tesla's self-driving capabilities had an impact on the company's share price.

I am definitely starting to hate #Mozilla.
As a remark: I have always been fine with their deal with Pocket and having Google as their default search engine. In the end, there are bills to be paid.
Until I learned that e.g. Mozilla Corporation’s CEO is on a multi-million dollar salary, and they’re hiring ai and ad people.
Not OK for an entity where many highly skilled people code for free.
It’s not what users want the cash to be spent on.
