Whoa, really??? I guess I just assumed nothing changed in the last 5 years. I need to look into that.
Not the only use cases, but you’d need a different service if you need/want wildcard certs, certs that are manually installed and managed, or certs with a longer expiration.
It was the paid blue checkmark for $8 back in 2022.
Kinda old article info without much current stuff except the lawsuit against the ad trade group.
Yeah, the clip mount is actually the useful part, cause a few of the Fords since 2018 have the same coin holder, and people can use that as a basis for other options.
Once it’s done I’ll share that part, and maybe the whole thing as two separate files.
We’ve had a couple 100 degree F days, and the thermometer read 110° a couple times, and the plastic seems to be fine (so far).
It’s mostly out of the sun, since it’s low on the dashboard, so I expect it’ll hold up.
Could easily just charge separate lines on the bill, just like they do for everything else.
1 - $0.0x c/KWh for line maintenance - this charges on both incoming and outgoing power.
2 - $0.xx c/KWh for power usage - this charges only on the incoming side.
3 - $xx flat fee every month for administration of your account.
Charge what things cost and it won’t matter how your use your energy.

Thank you. This was a well thought out and logical response.
More grid storage means more capacity for renewables.
On one hand, when you put a case on the phone, it’s not as bad.
On the other hand, that’s a lot of real estate for a bigger battery that’s completely wasted.
I wish they just didn’t jump on current hypes, like crypto and AI.
Why not just write “I can’t make it Tuesday, can you do Wednesday at 2pm?”
Otherwise we just end up in this world.
Ok, telling people to open a command line and TYPE firefox -P is HARD. In chrome you just click the icon in the upper right and select whatever profile you want.
It makes no sense that you have to either open about:profiles then select “launch in new window” or open the command line to start a new profile, makes NO sense at all.
You can open a firefox private window with a keyboard shortcut, but if you want to be logged into two different accounts in two different profiles, you have to go through a minimum of three non-intuitive steps.
Even the extension that adds the profile switching doesn’t work anymore because it’s not maintained.
I use multiple profiles in chrome for my different logged in usages, for some reason Firefox makes it hard to switch profiles.
Do you have an original source on that? #IWantToBelieve

I fight for privacy to protect myself.
Now, what am I protecting myself from? I don’t think anyone is going to come arrest me for what I do. I don’t think any big companies are going to leak my data and embarrass me. I don’t think anyone is going to compromise my bank and drain my funds.
I am protecting myself from being influenced by advertising and targeted news.
I am protecting my thoughts and feelings, because in the end, that’s all that really matters. I don’t want to need the next toy, or jump on a bandwagon. I don’t want to see advertising and I don’t want a carefully crafted worldview pushed on me.
That’s a bit misleading, they did receive a request, and a search warrant was attempted, but since the data they wanted didn’t exist, nothing happened.
Good link, but just the word yes didn’t accurately answer the question.
MX Master Series has a metal scroll wheel. It’s an amazing mouse for my purposes.
Expensive, yes, but I have no doubt it’ll outlast a lot of other mice.
I’ve been running a pair of cyberpower systems for over a decade. I had to replace the battery in each of them once, but they’ve been working great.
I assume newer ones use some sort of Li-Ion battery tech, but mine are just plain old Lead Acid.
