Unfortunately, Fairphone is not available in my country. I’d buy it in a heartbeat if it was :(

I feel the same. I think they got to a point where there’s nothing else left to improve, no interesting features to add.
The only feature I am really looking forward to is the return of removable batteries.
A few years ago, I gave up a job opportunity at Uber. The interview had a leet code step and no way I am spending Elden Ring’s launch week grinding leet code.
I was in a similar situation. A few weeks after I got hired, the project I was hired for was cancelled, so they “benched” me.
I spent three months being paid to do whatever I wanted, didn’t even need to go to the office. It was nice at first, but I felt useless and miserable after a couple of months.
This made me understand why some people keep working long after they have enough to retire.
Smartphones. Most people don’t need to buy the latest and greatest iPhone every year.
Well, I guess it was because I looked just like the pictures I sent her and was calm and polite.
I once went on a date with a girl and when I got to the bar there were four of her friends at the table! They left once they made sure I wasn’t a murderer.
That’s fair. I hope they tone down the difficult in the sequel. I was able to get through the base game, but the extra content is just way too difficult.
You should check out Frog Fractions
You should check out Dead Space 3 co-op mode. It’s basically what you described here.
Hollow Knight Silksong :(
Metal Gear Rising
Didn't they pull the same shit back when they changed the company name to Meta?
I am traveling with my Steam Deck right now. Best purchase I made this year!
Ring of Pain. It’s a creepy dungeon crawler roguelite. I don’t know why, I’ve seen everything the game has to offer and somehow I keep coming back to it.
The Genesis Young Indiana Jones game. Played it a lot when I was a kid, because I owned very few games. Got so good at it I was able to beat the whole thing without dying. I loved that game.
Then a few days ago, James Rolfe played it in the latest AVGN episode and holy cow that game is absolute garbage. For the curious, you can check it out from 18:34: https://youtu.be/xPsN_rcEpu4
Over the years I’ve come to the conclusion that good managers in general are rare and the few good ones don’t go far in their careers because big companies favors backstabbing psychopaths and narcissists, just like in politics.
Happened when management started treating the IT department like crap and demanding we work overtime with no extra pay. Almost all the experienced developers left in the spam of a year.
Before I left, I told them they would never be able to assemble such a good team again. Four years later and they are still struggling to keep the department running, according to a friend that chose to stay. The few developers they are able to hire are either terrible or quit after a while.
I get the feeling the same will happen in my current job :/
The latest update broke ipv4 on my ThinkPad, ipv6 works just fine. How is that even possible?
