That’s really a valid point.
Husband, Father, Gamer, Nerd
That’s really a valid point.
Boredom after some period of time, you will have some everything there is to do.
When I graduated from high school I used the money I got in graduation gifts to purchase an HP41CV.
It was an amazing calculator. I wish I knew where it was!
I use Plex’s download feature to make sure I always have music available. The same could be done for other media but I don’t bother.
My Plex server runs in my home and all my media is available outside my home. A travel server seems like a solution for a problem that doesn’t really exist.
My answer may not quite fit the topic. But I’ll share anyway.
In the late 20-teens, ZZ Top and John Fogerty we’re touring together. My wife and I saw them on the Jersey Shore (thanks VetTix!) and Fogerty opened the show and absolutely killed it. Then ZZ Top played and Billy Gibbons just didn’t have it anymore. We left early.
Several weeks later they played Jones Beach Amphitheatre and thanks to VetTix we got to go again. Once again Fogerty knocked it out of the park and Billy was just not up to snuff.
It was sad.
Interestingly, Billy Gibbons is featured on one of the tracks of Slash’s new album Orgy of the Damned. That track is the perfect fit for Gibbons and it holds together beautifully.
I really want to move my domain from Google to Proton, but family accounts at Proton are so dang expensive. Fastmail is far cheaper than Google, so that looks like it might be a really good option.
You do not need a college education to get a good job. The trades need good workers and they make pretty good money. Go down to a union hall and offer to be an apprentice at something. Build some of those skills you say you don’t have!
We’re a Sonos family. Listening to Sonos right now as a matter of fact. But this really bugs me. I don’t allow voices control in my home so was interested when Sonos brought out their own version. I’ve contemplated rolling it out, but now likely won’t.
Our government has completely lost its way. The Founders would be both appalled and ashamed.
I was the first Red Hat Certified Engineer in the state of Oregon.
Did you let them know you use Arch?
Make it happen! It was so far ahead of its time
I was a dedicated OS/2 user for many years. I still miss REXX.
This was a spectacular read. Consumable even with no engineering background.
Really well done.
When one person is an asshole, there’s a good possibility they’re an asshole. When everyone is an asshole, it’s time to look in the mirror, because you are likely the asshole.
Gonna take a second run at this game. I’ve almost completely forgotten my first playthrough it was so lackluster. But it’s gonna be a bit Starfield and BG3 completions first.
You’re far too kind, the article was a steaming pile of crap. Long on scare short on anything practical.
That got a laugh!
A while back a woman died after eating at a Disney restaurant and being assured that the food she was ordering was allergen free. Disney responded very poorly to the husband’s suit, but I wonder if the Disney employee believed things were allergen free because of one of these hacked menus.
