Got a link to share? Nothing else can do analog inputs like neurolink can, so would love to see this tech that isn’t even been talked about yet that you’re spouting all over this thread.

Awwwh did someone learn a new word of the day and is trying to use it every chance they get? Even if it doesn’t apply at all?
Why are you shilling an inferior product that can’t accomplish the same thing?
So… you don’t understand the tech that neurolink is accomplishing, and you suggest another inferior option…?
And of course anyone who points out your idiocy is a shill…
Blocked now.
EEG outputs binary inputs.
Are you seriously arguing without understanding binary vs analog….?
Than why doesn’t the tech exist yet…?
On/off isn’t the same as being able to control the input incrementally.
EEG and neurolink are two different techs accomplishing quite different goals in the end,
EEG can’t input analog inputs, neurololink is accomplishing an entirely different tech, so that’s quite literally impossible. Sorry.
EEG can’t accomplish the same thing, it doesn’t have analog control, mario cart has analog steering and in the video you can see it working.
It’s an entirely different tech meant to do something else, so no an eeg chop cannot ever accomplish the same thing.
You’re spreading misinformation all over this thread.
EEG is an extremely limited tech, they are looking for a way to advance past those limitations.
We can’t just not advance ever since someone might get hurt, that’s just asinine.
No, which is why people are trying to find better tech.
EEG is limited, it’s why it went nowhere and people try to point to it as this big huge thing…. Technology won’t advance if we just continually stick with the limitations of old tech. Which unfortunately requires experimentation.
Huh, it’s almost like that has its limitations and they want to find a way past that or something…….
Yes let’s just stop at eeg since nothing could possibly advance on that… what an absolutely asinine ignorant fucking viewpoint.
What’s the alternative for brain related experiments? Just not advance ever?
lol they banned me for misinformation for calling theirs out. Deleted all the comments to control the dialogue as well.
Said I had proof during another exchange (they started) but the comments are deleted, admin came (yay I kinda thought) said the logs are public. Asked the mod (stamets) to show the deleted comments and the admin to show the log, or atleast how to access it, and banned again.
This place is worse than Reddit for this shit right now, you have an admin lying and hiding stuff for a mod, one they put as moderator for a bunch of communities. Thats not fishy or anything……
I would love to see this “public mod log” because their doesn’t seem to be a way to see (ALL) deleted comments on the current one.
I fully expect another ban for this, for no other reason than Stamets is a thin skinned mod who doesn’t have the emotional capability to mod, and antagonizes Lemmy users and uses their mod powers (abuse) to hide it. Its a fucking shame really, admins are letting it happen too, excusing it in a lot of cases.
I’m not defending them, I’m pointing out what should be obvious, but of course Lemmy just hates Apple, so it’s seeing as defending them….
People don’t like the truth, it’s that simple, but I’m not defending them.
USB PD* can, not usb c. It uses the same connector, but it’s an entirely different standard, but you wouldn’t understand this if you just think I’m a troll…
Yes, it’s called being a realist and understanding how the world works, it’s the opposite of being brainwashed, like you are for hating Apple for no other reason than to hate. They suck, I never said otherwise, but it’s funny how pointing out what should be painfully obvious makes me the troll… right………
No… but you agree as well… what? A battery with an attached cable kit would cost vastly more than just a replaceable cable mate. Atleast Apple didn’t go that route, of course they want your money, they could have taken more by not having a replaceable cable at all……
The pack charges with USB-c this cable goes from headset to battery pack and could provide more power or even data than what usb-c does. So atleast it’s replaceable instead of being hardwired and needing to buy a whole new kit to replace a damaged connecto/cable.
If it was hardwired you would need to buy a whole new kit…
And does anyone even know the tech specs to know if an existing cable is capable of providing the power the device needs?
Could have been hard wired, but atleast this is replaceable.
Those are all binary outputs, neurolink allows analog.
Totally different goals, so no nothing else exists currently.
