What if I don’t like me?

The last time I and my surrounding people rubbed the wrong way, I asked why. I sought to see if something was wrong and at once they told me, even if in the second instance I was not informed. If there is no coordination, how they treat me is their doing. Years of being beat around would reinforce this. If the masses do something wrong, contrary to how many think of it, it doesn’t become right just because they’re the masses.

At various points in my life, my understanding of that grew and grew. I’m sure there will be a point soon where I fear my future twice as much as I do now.

A friend of mine for weekly movie night started this habit with his family where every time they watched a movie, the next week, they’d watch the movies advertised in the DVD previews, exponentially growing their movie list. They began with Kiki’s Delivery Service (I think) and ended (to my knowledge) with some random Japanese movie with English closed captions about three women and a girl who accidentally gets drunk and reveals when drunk that she is worried about one of the women moving, but they don’t and the movie ends with them walking along a beach (feel free to tell me the name).

Anyways, of the movies, there are several the library did not have because it runs on contributions.

I have family in Vanuatu and they run into scenarios like this a surprising amount. Maybe it has just the right demographic when it comes to relations.

That’s amazing. My closest story is similar to this actually. I have a couple of friends who have a photobombing hobby, to the point where they’re the equivalent of world record holders for it (and turn it into a charity thing), (what they’re known for when they’re not spelunking). They know all the hotspots for it and whatnot. It got to the point that facial recognition would go haywire, even though it’s only when they’re together that they’re unmistakable, while, individually, they’re quite generic for spottable people. So anyways, a few times I might have been looking at pictures somewhere like a dictionary or maybe footage, and at first if I think “oooh this looks exotic”, there they are in the background, peeping out from behind a fence or something. Most endearing part is I made myself my art hobby separately from this or knowledge of it, and it intertwines.
