The Wet Bandits
Wisecracking robots who drink alcohol.
Kick em when they’re up, kick em when they’re down.
Why now? Why not 20 years ago?
I feel bad for the person who only has 443 game consoles hooked to one TV.
The first Pokemon movie came out during the height of Pokemania, so I’d say they timed it perfectly. The Simpsons are the complete opposite, with the movie coming out years after the golden age ended.
Librarians from what I’ve heard. They usually require a masters degree but the pay usually doesn’t reflect that.
I don’t know if it counts as tech per se, but phone calls. It used to be the case that many if not most phone calls people received were important, so they would have a good reason to answer the phone. These days most calls are spammers or scammers and a lot of people don’t answer the phone because of this. With spoofing, even calls that appear to be from a legitimate number can easily be a scam, and it’s hard to trust any calls these days.
Anything from LJN.
We have shopping centers in the US and a lot of them are still thriving. They tend to be smaller than malls but they’re more numerous. They usually have one or two big stores like Target or Home Depot along with several smaller stores. They’re also not enclosed so it’s easier to get to a small store in a shopping center than it is in a mall.
Mr. Nedib, who comes from somewhere far away. Yes, that’ll do.
One of the cliches in a lot of rom coms involves a woman who’s too busy with a career to have ever fallen in love. To make this work, usually the woman has a high paying but long hours job like lawyer or executive or something like that. It would be the kind of job that people would like to have because of the money and the power. Having the woman be something like a janitor wouldn’t work because a. it doesn’t pay well and b. it isn’t a job most people would dream about having and most certainly wouldn’t sacrifice love for. I think that’s part of the reason why a lot of rom coms depict wealthy people.
Boat = bust out another thousand
Eh, a car doesn’t do too well on the ocean.
I like customizations on the touchscreen. I’ve had several experiences where I tell the cashier what I want including customizations only to get my order and realize that the order wasn’t entered in properly. The touchscreen ensures that the order is at least entered properly.
Chunky bars. Kids like raisins in their chocolate, right?
