I have an LG with WebOS and have youtube premium and haven’t seen any ads so far (though it may be regional). Cheers for the link, tough. I wonder if it works on Japanese versions
Reddit -> Beehaw until I decided I didn’t like older versions of Lemmy (though it seems most things I didn’t like are better now) -> kbin.social (died) -> kbin.run (died) -> fedia.

Same. I remember wanting to try my friend’s coleco but it never happened for some reason I don’t recall.
I’ve been living without the first two for years now. I could live without youtube if I really needed to, though I do watch a lot of stuff about farming that is really helpful. Most of my youtube watching is educational with a slight smattering of games and entertainment and a tiny bit of news.
Yes; I never said anything to the contrary.
It’s also not really “forcing”. You are trying out a new diet and closely monitoring whether they like it and if they are healthy
Ignoring the rest of the post, if you control 100% of what a cat eats and then change what that cat may and must eat, that is 100% forcing something.
My dad, my classmate’s family, and I all had one in the early '90s. An old friend collected (probably still does) them and had a variety in his closet. I think we can safely say ‘at least around 20’ now.
Dad was also in a commodore user group back before the modern internet. Those meetings were always fun.
I was never into her or her content (IIRC, she wasn’t making anything that caught my attention), so this was more of a general question (hence ‘person or thing’ in my question) rather than specific to her situation.
a sign of fickle Western users like myself before doing
So if someone is into a person or thing at a point, they can never become not interested in that thing? I’m confused by the message here.
And, around launch, didn’t have payment processors in multiple countries meaning people were just fucked by exclusives
I just set all the twitter and meta domains to localhost in my hosts file; no accidental clicks that go through for me :)
When I started, I picked Beehaw on lemmy. I hated the autorefresh and some other settings (around language IIRC, but it’s been a while) not saving and/or not working. I went to kbin as a result. I know lemmy no longer autorefreshes in newer versions, but I just got used to the layout and feel of mbin.
I want regex find. I’m fairly certain firefox used to have it, but no longer seems to.
As an Engineer (although the IT kind not the structural kind), I can tell you confidently that no solution is more permanent than a temporary solution.
There’s a point I reached where I mostly just stopped caring. I also don’t like a lot of people, so I suppose the feeling is at least sometimes mutual.
More to your actual point, learning to deal with criticism is a skill and it can be very tough sometimes for everyone. I normally try to think of how that comment is wrong and, if it’s not, how I can learn and grow from whatever criticism is. Don’t sweat honest mistakes; just try to put systems in place to avoid them (I’m a fan of checklists for some things). For personal attacks or unrelated, just ignore them.
Here’s hoping it is fine. I had tried to sign up here rather than .run but had issues at that time. Cheers!
Same. I had literally just recommended .run a couple of days ago. This is getting really old, honestly.
They’ve been awful for many, many years at this point. I’ve no idea why people keep giving them money and expecting them to not be awful.
