Osrs and WoW both run on Linux if you want something addictive lol. Bottles seems to work best for battle.net stuff.
Try out bottles, I use it for wow and ubisoft stuff
I have discord installed from the flatpak. Screen sharing works but it doesn’t share audio from the applications. Discord-screenaudio and web browser discord have been suggested to me but they don’t work with unfocused push to talk. I’ve also tried xwaylandvideobridge but that didn’t stream the audio either.
Oh nice! I wonder if this will fix discord streaming audio?
Looks pretty clean, I’ll have to check it out.
I’m just started reading Wool by Hugh Howey. I finished the first season of Silo and didn’t want to wait a year to get more of the story. The book has been great so far. It seems like the show followed the book pretty well with a few changes.
Window screens, fly ribbons, and a Bug-A-Salt gun lol. The bug-a-salt shoots salt very fast to kill bugs.
I’ve had PIA for years. It has always worked so I haven’t had a reason to try anything else. I think its like $2/mo paid yearly.
My favorite phone was the Xperia xz1 compact with a 4.7in rectangle screen. I really wish that small phones were still being made by major manufacturers. Seems like only small companies like unihertz are making them but many modern features are missing. My Zflip3 is close in pocket size but it would be nice if the screen was smaller.
Hellyeah bidets are great! You can get a $20 attachment off amazon that goes under your regular toilet seat and hooks to the toilet water line with a T connector. It’ll be cold water only but works as a great. There are also heated under seat attachments and full toilet seat replacements with a heated seat, blowdryer, and water spray options. After using them for years it feels bad shittin in public bathrooms.
I really enjoy Tumbleweed. I’ve been using it for about 18 months now without issue. One thing to note though is that TW only packages production release Nvidia drivers. This means you will not have the 555 or 560 drivers that make Wayland usable by default. You can always install the latest drivers with the run file provided by Nvidia. Some people also use the CUDA repo to get the newer drivers. However, I’d think both of these options may be the type of tinkering you are trying to avoid.
Overall I think TW is a great distro but it may be a bit more setup for Nvidia gaming on Wayland than you are looking for. If you’re down with doing a little tinkering or gaming on X give it a shot. You can always roll back if something gets messed up.
