Maybe this is true for SteamOS, but I am mostly was replying about “great at that, but it takes a lot to get around the immutability without relying on unmaintained flatpaks”. I use immutable Distro, there is maintained syncthing available as Flatpak, and i did not experienced any problems related to using immutable distribution with syncthing specifically, so eh.

Nope.
syncthing: Kommando nicht gefundenAs far I am aware - there is no other packages related to syncthing is avaliable in distro repositories and this one not included by distro by default.
UPD: there also appears to be
syncthing-toolspackage, but it is also not included in mine system by default and I never installed it myself. The only trace of Syncthing on my system is… well, from that flatpak. And unless I missunderstund how any of that works, syncthing is included in flatpak and you can look for it in its manifest file:
https://github.com/flathub/com.github.zocker_160.SyncThingy/blob/a786450f1305474e71c1f33c468ff3dc5758e238/com.github.zocker_160.SyncThingy.yml#L42It takes syncting release fromhttps://github.com/syncthing/syncthing/releasesand adds it to build process.
