As IAC continues to sharpen its focus, we have made the decision to discontinue our search business, which includes Ask.com. After 25 years of answering the world’s questions, Ask.com officially closed on May 1, 2026.

    Mayday, Jeeves! Mayday!

    I honestly didn’t know it was still around. Wonder how it compared against the sludge that is now Google’s crapified results. Guess I’ll never know.

      They stopped indexing years ago if I recall correctly. If they still had search results, they were probably white-labled. Doesn’t take much to beat modern google results though. 🙂
