An error message appears saying "The following are not allowed: no zionist, no zionists" when users try to add the phrase to their bios, but any number of other phrases about political and religious preferences are allowed.

Exactly. Censorship, ultimately, doesn’t work.

Remember, “the net interprets censorship as damage and routes around it.” While we’re talking about just one website, the above quote really speaks to online culture and, perhaps, humanity in general.
