You can also promote them in OSS focused forums many people might not know about those softwares and OSS doesn’t have money to spend on ad campaigns.
It’s not that easy earlier all phones had unlocked or unlockable bootloader but now only few do. Even xiomi once hailed as cheap phone for custom ROMs now has unlockable bootloader

49·23 days agoYes end to end encryption is for hostile actors why don’t you send your nuclear launch codes in plain text.
I use fake name generators for all accounts. I also have a system to get an email which can’t be easily tied back to me.
The difference is I guess I comment with anonymous accounts.
In my country police are known to torture people until they sign a confession written by them. So I don’t think disabling biometrics will make a difference. But I’ve still done it.

1·1 month agoDebian always has been a stable distro. But earlier it lacked some good DE. And most beginners didn’t know or thought it was daunting to install DE. That’s why it got left out but now in past 4-5 years it has been pretty good.

This only got legalized because Supreme Court said that the laws never clarified the genders of husband and wife. The current government has tried several times to get it reversed but couldn’t.
Also here you can only be open about your sexuality if you are rich enough. Because rich and educated ppl are more accepting of LGBTQ community than general public.

2·1 month agoRemember no matter how many layoffs happen if we don’t count those ppl as “actively looking for a job” they won’t show up in unemployment rate.

I’ve only built and ran their emulator. But, The first build will take a lot of time but subsequent builds are fast.
Keep in mind Google is not releasing source code regularly like they used to. And GrapheneOS has a OEM partner from them they get latest source code but not allowed to release for some time so build will not have latest updates
