3 months agoThe last Mac I put this on was determined not to let me change doc files to open with it no matter what I did. It would change it for individual files only, but not the file type. Maybe because it was m1 or something.

4·5 months agoWorks fine on my Motorola g50 using a Belkin usbc Ethernet adapter with charging passthrough.
After a few days a message pops up that it will reduce battery to 80 percent to preserve it.
Used as a 5g router.
Added solar and a battery. I don’t worry too much about the power use as a result.
4·6 months agoSummit is dead for several hours now too, at least for me. Have fallen back to the piefed PWA.

Just be careful of people who volunteer at non profits. Most will be good, but since they’re not getting paid, their motivation may be strongly ego driven. That can be problematic.

I use OnlyOffice for PDFs since it can set a default zoom level. LibreOffice can’t, which it just stupid.
I use LibreOffice for other stuff though.

Are they just referring to personal data when you sign up, or are they using deep packet inspection to see where their customers are browsing?

1·8 months agoI wonder if this will work on Debian 12. I need a version of excel to work (for VBA) and it’s a bit slow in Gnome Boxes.
No they didn’t. You just need to download an app called qbittorrent, click the search tab, type the movie name then double click the one at the top with the highest number of ‘seeders’. Shortly thereafter the movie will be safely on your computer.
