You can trick it easily for now. I haven’t because I worry it gives the system more legitimacy than it deserves. No, not doing it at all. Closing your site and going somewhere else.
Many adults don’t have one either. I’m in my 30s, got a house. Never had or wanted a credit card. Most people I know don’t have one, although a lot of people nationally do have one there are also lots without.
To the American busy typing away, no. I don’t need one. Go away.

This is just for an alleged rather than convicted stalker. Distances like that mean you would need to relocate to another part of the country over an allegation.

If they don’t have good reasons it sounds like they are wasting time on the job

Pretty sure a GPL game can include non GPL parts, software doesn’t need to all be released under a single license for everything in the package. Look at CDDA, bunch of different licenses apply to parts of that and its on steam.

We only get a quiz that badly teaches you the very basics of how to start a fire. A lesson I learnt when I was about 5. They call it fire safety but its mostly just what does a fire need to burn.
Fuel, oxygen and an arsonist!

The company laptop isn’t mine, that makes it the perfect test environment!

How paranoid are you if you test every USB device? OK got a new memory stick or keyboard. Gotta test it!

But I still don’t want it

But they may not have even done so. This is for alleged stalkers.
2km also essentially allows stalking them if you accuse them. Are they at home? Let’s just walk within 2km and find out. Even just saying a distance and not location would make triangulation easy. Just go to 3 spots and see where the distances overlap. 2 would often be good enough for an educated guess.
I am more in favour of notifying police. 1km is probably still a bit of a wide area although if they are just notified first and only take action if you continue moving closer, say to 200m or so, then it might be more reasonable.

That seems pretty short though, surely it would mean you are not allowed to live, work or even vist the same town they live or work in.
Like if anyone I knew was to be my stalker, one of us would have to quit their job and sell their house to relocate.

Ehh, I know the software where I work makes endless attempts to connect too. That isn’t malicious, just shit. 4 year later its still trying again every 30 seconds. Logs are fucking massive.

You can buy cars too.
Get stuff second hand and it isn’t even that expensive. Performance per £ is still better than it was a decade ago for the overall system.

Instead of age verification, it should be improved parental controls. Make it more obvious how to set them up. The initial boot for windows first page could be “are you setting this up for an adult or child?”, even require shops selling computers to make sure customers understand that.
Make the parents take the responsibility they are currently somehow managing to avoid.
Has that caused problems? I don’t really care if they are just using AI. If they are breaking things because of it and not validating anything then that is a larger concern.
What is wrong with it? Never had any problems running games on Lutris and it doesn’t require steam (DRM) which is pretty nice.
Don’t even have loans, literally only the mortgage. Even that I don’t like but its the only way to get a house really. Hopefully going to pay it off decades early, should be able to with the rate I am saving currently if my partner does the same.
Crazy that I am doing that on £29k though.
