It is more important to archive things you like if you got the space. Even if you don’t plan on using it for a long time.
I don’t blame anyone. It doesn’t work for me. I have my own space and can be productive at home. I don’t need to be at the office getting coughed on or dealing with air temps.
It is good to send new users to something like Gnome they can branch out. I think Cosmic will be a great fit as well. Outside of updates, you don’t have to do too much in the CLI really. But long as you learn some of the basics how to get around and maybe make an alias. I think that will get you by just fine on Linux. I do think people should get users to try less Windows like experiences on Linux. Because a Windows like UI will just make them miss Windows.
One thing Linux needs to do is change the perception of how hard everything is compared to Windows. Some things are extremely less difficult on Linux.
That gameplay loop is undefeated and still simple for anyone to join in.
This is really cool. I love emulation it is great to play old games with better options. I would love to see The N64 wrestling games get this type of treatment, I still play Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 often.
Microsoft continues to make me thankful for switching to Linux. It is refreshing to be able to control your computer experience.
I haven’t had any real issues with Flatpaks outside of them not following my GTK theme which I fixed with Flatseal.
It looks people just needed to know what choices they had. I love Firefox.
It takes the EU to force Microsoft to act reasonable.
I’ve been using Bluesky more. It is better with feeds and a way less toxic general user base.
I love me some cheap hardware to put Linux on it. It is a good feeling, plus less ewaste.

Everything with more tech or smart isn’t always better.
All you need is a Picom and to set it in your config. They just have a good number of forks to pick.
Props to people are actually helping, it goes a long way and people do learn information differently. Sometimes telling someone just to read something doesn’t click.
I hope people just switch to something else or start self-hosting their own music.
