Privacy@lemmy.ml•Fuck Github, Microsoft has made it impossible to create an account without linking to hardware or phones
24·5 days agoI like GitHub, it’s a nice place for me, I don’t encounter any issues, except for some strange things in their UI.
You are completely missing the point of “Oh, mister developer sir, please, you absolutely must make me a button here so I can rename a file. I insist! I’ll even draw you a little spider in return.”
Waiting for others to do something for you is the wrong approach. Get off your ass and be the developer. Creating an interface for a tool is no rocket science.
well, actually nobody gives a shit, use whatever you fit best for the task.

Besides Tbilisi Georgia is nice, calm and pleasant. Kazakhstan is mostly a shithole, but if you’re not into interacting with people and enjoy flat steppes with endless views of nothing to the horizon, or beautiful mountains in the south, it’s a nice and calm place too.
I guess it’s Belarus.
Well, Microsoft do the most of all for Linux.
The beggar king masters the green screen.

Open Source@lemmy.ml•Petition to formally recognize open source work as civic service in Germany
3·3 months agoThat’s really funny bullshit petition. Ehrenamt is unpaid working with a minimal tax break from the government. That’s the wrong way to promote open source. The right way is “public money public code” and funding projects.

The great power of open source is the ability to fork and patch your suggested bullshit out. ☺️

Techcrap, but if it cost 100 euro, I would buy one.
