I recently stumbled upon SDF and it honestly filled me with so much hope and inspiration, that something so cool and benevolent could be held sacred for decades and has persisted through all the changes and enshittification, it felt like climbing a mountain and finding a perfectly preserved monastery with libraries full of wisdom still stewarded by living digital monks.
And yet when I share my enthusiasm with anyone, they say “i don’t get it, just looks like an outdated website to me…” -_-
